Francis Breit was reported as missing from Eagle River, Wisconsin, last seen on July 1st, 1990.
Francis’ son and other mutual friends had not had contact with him for months prior to his disappearance and reported him as missing.
Francis is a white male, 5’2”-5’7”, and 120-130 pounds. He has medium length hair that may be partially or fully gray, a full beard, and brown eyes. He also wears glasses.
He has a healed fracture in one of his legs, unknown if left or right. He is described as having a “bull-legged” walk. He also has a healed fracture of his right hand and a healed fracture of his nose. Francis is classified as a disabled missing person.
Francis may go by various other names: Frank Breit, Frankie Knauer, Francis A. Knauer, Frank A. Knauer, and Frank August Breit.
He is known to wear jumpsuits in summer and snowmobile suits in winter, usually red in color for both.
Francis reportedly had many “very strange habits.”
There are not many photos available of him.
There has been no activity on his bank account since July of 1990; which is the account that his Social Security checks were automatically deposited to.
Francis was 78 years old when he went missing. He would be 109 years old today.
