All photos below are of Renee.

Renee was working her way to Oregon. She had been working at the Buffalo Gap Guest Ranch in North Dakota. However, in the last week of June, she stopped to camp in Glendive with a man she had been working with at the ranch.

She was camping at the Yellowstone River at the Fish Intake in Glendive, Montana. She had been in this area for several days with her travel companion.

The man told Law Enforcement that he had went to sleep in Renee’s car with her 2 dogs and that when he woke up on June 28th, she was no where to be seen. All of her possessions were all left behind.

Renee was last seen on June 27th, and the man did not report her missing until Friday, June 30th.

There were no eye witnesses that saw Renee go into the Yellowstone River, but that is the current assumption. The river is high at this time of year and has many hazards in the water.

Searches were conducted on July 14th and 15th by Badlands Search and Rescue, performing 24 hours of search efforts including side-scan sonar, visual searching, debris fields, and shoreline searches totaling 22.5 miles of the Yellowstone River.

While the search was suspended in November as the weather began to change, a large-scale search effort had been conducted with the additional help of drones, dogs, and other organizations searching along the river. The search is still focusing on the Yellowstone River, but may possibly extend to other surrounding areas.

In a separate but related incident, one of Renee’s dogs is also missing. Her travel companion was driving back to North

Dakota and let the dogs out to go to the bathroom. Both dogs ran away and while her larger dog returned, the smaller dog did not. The small dog is missing near the Montana-North Dakota state line.

Currently, Law Enforcement indicated that there is no criminal investigation related to Renee’s disappearance.

Despite all efforts, Renee has not been located.

Renee is 36 years old.
